Common Questions for First Time Visitors
Come as you are - all are welcome!

What is your worship like?

When you come in to worship with our church, there is no need to feel intimidated. We are simply a group of regular people gathering together to sing songs of praise and worship together (songs vary from traditional hymns to contemporary ones and we sing all songs without instrumental accompaniment). We pray together. We take Communion together every Sunday to remember all that Jesus has done for us. Our minister preaches from the Bible and teaches sermons on various relevant topics. We always offer an opportunity for members to request prayers for themselves or loved ones, and we offer an opportunity for anyone wanting to become a Christian to be baptized. Our goal is to worship God, encourage one another, and learn how to live as Christians.

What about my kids?

Kids of all ages and abilities are welcomed and appreciated by the members here. We believe that children should feel like "going to church" is a positive and safe experience. Our children stay in the sanctuary with the adults during our main period of worship. During Bible classes, children are welcome to attend age appropriate classes with experienced and loving teachers and there are always at least two adults in each classroom.

What do I wear?

There is no dresscode here. We have some members who choose to wear suits, ties and dresses, we have others who choose to wear jeans, shorts, and t-shirts. We believe that God looks at the inward man and not on his outward appearance. Come wearing whatever you feel comfortable in.
